How Gotcare in the home works

We want to make it as simple as possible for you to get your client or your loved one the care they need. When we receive a care request, here’s the process:

GET SETUP WITH YOUR CARE MANAGER

After receiving a care request, we assign you to a dedicated Care Manager who will be your go-to person for anything you need at Gotcare.  This person knows everything about your client from intake to invoicing.

GET MATCHED WITH A LOCAL CARE WORKER

Your dedicated Care Expert will match your client or loved ones to local care workers who specialize in their unique needs and considers shared language and/or cultural needs. Care needs to be available nearby, typically matched care workers live within a 15 minute walk or drive.

MEET YOUR CARE WORKER!

Your client or loved ones have the option to virtually meet with your matched care worker(s). We know that personality fit is a big part of the care worker-client relationship, and it’s the quality of that relationship that really drives success for everyone involved.

CUSTOMIZE SCHEDULE WITH CARE WORKER

You pick your care worker and determine the care schedule with them. Your dedicated Care Expert is always one call or email away, should you ever need anything. Our typical response time is 30 minutes (within business hours).

RECEIVE HOME CARE

Your selected care worker(s) begins providing home care! They are also trained in using technology to log the status of your client or loved one. That makes it easy to keep family, doctors and insurers updated on any new developments or issues.

GET ROUTINE UPDATES FROM CARE MANAGER

You’ll receive routine updates from your Care Expert, as they’ll monitor any care worker reporting as well as the amount of care hours being utilized. If you have multiple clients receiving care from us, you’ll receive a summary of care on a regular basis. You can customize what and when you hear from us.
